The Little Stevies
Rarely do you see a band with such an ability to connect with their audience as Melbourne's The Little Stevies. The trio's unique blend of emotive and honest songwriting, catchy pop melodies and beautiful three-part harmonies actually do what so many others claim to: give their audience license to really identify with them, and to feel that they're sharing something of themselves.
The Little Stevies are made up of sisters Sibylla and Beth, and their childhood friend Robin. They descend from a long line of great Australian acts that includes the likes of Frente, The Waifs and Paul Kelly –– acts whose music retains a sense of fun while maintaining an emotional depth and maturity. It's not uncommon to see people standing in a Little Stevies' audience with a smile on their face and tears on their cheeks.
The band's approach to songwriting and storytelling is uniquely Australian, but also universal, as evidenced by the great response the band has received on their overseas tours. Indeed, the band's charming lyrics, luscious harmonies and uplifting aura are winning hearts throughout the world.
