In the Spring of 2006, from their humble home in Melbourne, Ash Miles and Sophie Best launched Mistletone Records & Touring into the world with the release of Ariel Pink’s House Arrest, coinciding with his Australian tour.
Mistletone has now grown into one of Australia's finest independent labels with almost 40 titles and a thriving indie touring and events company. Mistletone run a boutique publishing company as a joint venture with Gaga, with Gaga currently working with Kes and Mark Barrage.
Mistletone are heavily involved in the local music scene, organising heaps of indie music events in Melbourne and around Australia. The Mistletone label is distributed by Inertia and offer their entire catalogue via mail order.
