Cooking Vinyl
Website: http://cookingvinylmusic.com/index.html
British publishing company Cooking Vinyl is the sister company to Cooking Vinyl Records. Like the label, Cooking Vinyl is fiercely independent, and boasts a roster particularly strong in independent, envelope-pushing musicians, with autumnal pop luminaries The Clientele, soul virtuoso Eli Paperboy Reed, one-man electronica institution Mexican Institute Of Sound and pop-tinged freak-folkers AU among its artists.
Cooking Vinyl has made a habit of supporting little-known writers and artists, and is now headed by Paul Kinder, a veteran of the independent record industry, who has worked with everyone from Scott Walker to the Spice Girls.
