Big Scary release new ep, video
Posted: 14 April, 2010
A couple of months ago, we announced that prolific Melbourne duo Big Scary would be releasing four seasonal-themed eps this year. Now, with colder climes almost upon us, the band has just released the first of the four: the Autumn ep.
The band has generously made the title track available as a free download; to pick up a copy of the limited edition three-track ep, head over to Big Scary's new store. To get yourself in the mood, have a listen to Autumn below.
Big Scary will be launching the ep on May 28 at the Northcote Social Club.
In other Big Scary news, the group has just released their first official video, for the rousing Falling Away, from their At The Mercy of the Elements ep.
The clip, which was directed by Tom Melville, marries Falling Away's anthemic build to the story of a rather sad looking fellow taking a long drive out into rural Victoria, where he takes photos of large trees and long beaches and becomes progressively less sad. Check it out below.
Big Scary are still on their national tour with the Vasco Era. For dates, check out their myspace.
